Season two of Empire premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 23. The cast and creators discussed the upcoming season at an event on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The creators, producers and cast members were on a panel talking about the concept and origins of the show. Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Y. Gray performed songs from season one and premiered new songs from season two.
