Babik was among the hundreds injured when she was hit by one of the flying bullets at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.
“She is suffering from considerable injuries. Please send love and support to Kristin Babik and her family,” said Babik's friend, Tamara Herchel.
Friends tell us Babik’s injuries are serious and she’s in a lot of pain, but she is in stable condition in a hospital.
“It makes us wonder if there’s a place to love in this world around us,” said Herchel.
The dean of University of Florida Law School, Laura Rosenbury tweeted wishing Babik a full recovery where she included the link to the GoFundMe started by Babik's friends.
