JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A judge has scheduled a sentencing date for the mother of Lonzie Barton.
Lonna Lauramore Barton waived her Duval County Court appearance on Monday. She pleaded guilty in January to charges of child neglect and lying to police in connection with her son's disappearance.
Judge Mark Borello scheduled her sentencing for March 4 at 11:15 a.m.
State Attorney Angela Corey previously said she doesn't plan to pursue any more charges against Lauramore Barton.
Ruben Ebron was recently sentenced to 20 years in jail after pleading guilty to aggravated manslaughter in connection with the toddler’s death.
Lauramore Barton also faces unrelated drug charges in Baker County.
