The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting on the city's Westside.
Police were called to a home on the 7900 block of Lakeland Street around 6 a.m. Saturday. They found a man with a single gunshot wound laying in the front yard.
That man was pronounced dead at UF Health.
Police are still working to learn the circumstances surrounding this shooting. They're looking to see if any of the neighboring homes or businesses have surveillance video.
The victim has not yet been identified. JSO is asking anyone with information to please come forward.
