Man wanted for stealing golf carts on Jacksonville’s Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Have you seen Eric Sikes?

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday the 29-year-old is the primary suspect in a string of golf cart thefts on Jacksonville’s Northside.

According to JSO, on Wednesday, Nov. 17, officers assigned to the investigators observed a golf cart at Sikes’ residence. A short time later, officers observed the sale of the golf cart to another person. Officers were able to question the buyer and learned they had purchased another golf cart from Sikes in the past―both of which were determined to have been stolen.

Sikes is wanted for dealing in stolen property. At this time, he has not been located by JSO.
