Middleburg man wins $4 million Florida Lotto jackpot

The Florida Lottery announced Wednesday morning that a Middleburg man won $4 million in the Florida Lotto jackpot.

Michael Bryce, 66, purchased the winning jackpot ticket from the drawing held on Oct. 6, at a Publix located at 2640 Blanding Boulevard.

"Bryce chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,581,598,67," the Florida Lottery Communications Department said.

The Publix location will receive a bonus commission of $30,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The next Florida Lotto drawing will be held Oct. 31 at 11:15 p.m. ET with a $5.5 million jackpot.
