Be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions again Tuesday. The First Alert Weather team is tracking another wet and stormy afternoon.

“These storms can pack a punch, gusty winds, the downpours and the lightning. So just be prepared as you’re driving out and about today and tomorrow, ponding of water on highways and interstates and especially in construction zones”, Buresh said.

Showers and storms will develop between 1 and 3 p.m.

In the tropics, we’re tracking what could soon be tropical storm Nana, off the southeast coast, and moving away. So, while it appears close to Jacksonville it will have no local impacts.
