Rhae Ellen Odum, 29, was sentenced Wednesday in the death of her baby, according to a Georgia district attorney.
Odum was arrested and charged after she left her baby, Slade Edison Horne, in a hot car in Kingsland, Georgia.
According to the district attorney, Slade died of hyperthermia.
Odum entered a guilty plea on Nov. 14, 2018, and was sentenced Wednesday to serve 20 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation, according to the district attorney.
