The moon rocket was originally scheduled to launch from Cape Canaveral on Monday, Aug. 29 but due to issues with the engine, the launch was called off.

With the successful launch of the rocket, NASA will be one step closer to putting astronauts back on the moon since its Apollo program ended.

The rocket will hold three test dummies as well as one Snoopy plush, among other items, NPR reports.

Action News Jax will bring you LIVE coverage of the launch on Saturday.
