Swim with manatees in Crystal River

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The Fernandina Beach Parks and Recreation Department is planning two trips to Crystal River to swim with manatees.

The dates of the trips are Monday, Jan. 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and Sunday, Feb. 9.

The cost is $65 for Fernandina Beach residents, $80 for non-residents.

The price includes transportation, a manatee education program, snorkeling experience and wet suit/snorkel gear.
