Businesses, individuals and church groups “adopted” a child by picking from Angel Tree tags and buying gifts for the child’s specific age.

The Salvation Army recommends that parents not bring their children to pick up their gifts so youngsters can be surprised by gifts under the tree on Christmas Day.

Families can pick up the gifts at JCPenney’s from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Each Angel Tree family has a specific an appointed time to pick up their gifts.
