NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — The Neptune Beach City Council is giving a local bar the green light to continue a 25-year Thanksgiving Day tradition.
Leaders voted to approve the annual celebration for Pete's Bar. It means the city is prepared to pay officers to keep the peace.
The owner of Pete's Bar still must submit an application for a permit to the event.
The annual celebration was in doubt last week because the owner had concerns about insurance costs and personnel issues.
