New job offers for Latitude 360 employees after Action News Jax Investigation

A local businesswoman is offering new opportunities to former Latitude 360 employees after seeing Action News Jax’s investigation Tuesday night.

Our investigation exposed the struggles those employees have been going through since the entertainment restaurant shut down last month.

The story featured former employees Andrew Cabrera and Marcus Rodriguez, both new fathers struggling to find work after suddenly losing their jobs at Latitude 360.

“It's been terrible. I mean, everybody's -- like I said -- scrambling around trying to get jobs. Nobody, of course, in the service industry is really hiring right now because it's right after Christmas,” said Cabrera.

The district manager for Tropical Smoothie Cafe felt for them and reached out to Action News Jax wanting to offer them interviews for new jobs.

Former Latitude 360 employees said they still have not been able to cash their final two paychecks and health insurance they paid for has been canceled.

You can watch the full investigation, including an inside look at the company's finances and failures from a corporate whistleblower, here.
