Fleming Island, Fla. — Six apartments were evacuated in a Fleming Island complex after a driver plowed through a wall of an apartment building, according to Clay County Fire Rescue.
Clay County Fire Rescue is responding to an accident involving a vehicle that hit the side of an apartment building at the 2200 block of Marsh Hawk Ln in Fleming Island. 6 apartments are currently evacuated. Lighthouse Apartments is located at the 2200 block of Marsh Hawk Lane off US-17 in Clay County.
Firefighters on scene say two people were evaluated for injuries but no one was taken to a hospital.
