A storm system pushed through the metro area on Christmas Eve and delivered a Christmas chill for Northeast Florida.
But the heavy rain and storms that moved rapidly across the area late Thursday afternoon/early evening left behind damage to some areas.
First Alert Weather Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh said wind gusts were measured as high as 60 mph in some neighborhoods.
Action News Jax has received several photos and videos as the storm made its way through our area, knocking down trees and causing power outages.
