ORLANDO, Fla. — Two people were shot at an apartment complex near the University of Central Florida Thursday night, campus police said.
The University of Central Florida Police Department tweeted that two men were shot at The Marquee apartments, which are across the campus on Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard.
Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene along with UCF police.
Deputies said someone opened fire outside an apartment where four children were inside.
The two men who were shot are 21 and 22-years-old. Deputies said the victims are not students.
Deputies do not have any suspect information.
No other information has been released.
