Neighbors on Shamrock Road said police pinned a person down outside a home.
“Police were swarming to the scene, ambulances, fire trucks, everybody, and its been non-stop,” Armin Malagic said.
Officers said they found a man and a woman with what appeared to be stab wounds.
Investigators told Action News Jax one has life threatening injuries, while the other is a person of interest in the case.
“Most of these houses are all family and it’s a very quiet neighborhood so this is a shock to me and I’m guessing it’s a shock to most of the neighbors.” Malagic said.
One neighbor, who didn’t want to be identified fearing for his safety, said he goes to church with the man who lives in the home.
He explained the man began acting odd when other members of the family moved out of the house.
He said, “You could tell by the way he acted, wouldn’t talk to nobody, wouldn’t speak to nobody … so it was coming.”
