The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a heavy police presence off Edgewood Avenue South and Lenox Avenue today was the result of a grenade that was found at a Goodwill.
Police say an employee of the Westside Goodwill found the grenade in a box of donated items.
The immediate area was evacuated as a precaution while JSO's bomb squad responded.
JSO says the team safely removed the grenade.
Nobody was hurt.
