DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A man dressed as a woman robbed a Daytona Beach bank Saturday morning, the Daytona Beach Police Department said.
The wigged man, dressed in hospital scrubs and carrying a McDonald’s bag, walked into the PNC Bank at Beville and South Nova roads at 11:30 a.m., said Jimmie Flynt, a Daytona Beach police spokesman.
“The suspect passed a note to the teller stating, 'You are being robbed,’” Flynt said. “The suspect was given an undetermined amount of money along with a dye pack.”
The man walked to the rear of a nearby Sear’s Outlet before walking southbound toward Beville Road, Flynt said.
The suspect remains at large.
No weapon was seen or implied.
