CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A man shot and killed himself after a standoff with Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
The CCSO received a call on Sunday night that a woman was held against her will by a man.
The man jumped out of a window and ran away. The man was later identified as Aaron C. Shene.
Deputies searched for Shene for several hours.

Shene was found hiding in a vacant home at 212 Neptune Road in Orange Park.
Witnesses told police that he was threatening suicide.
CCSO SWAT team members were called to the home to negotiate with him.
People who lived near the standoff were evacuated from their homes.
Negotiations were unsuccessful and the man shot and killed himself.
