9 AM: A power outage in Putnam County is impacting customers and residents Tuesday morning on the East Putnam Regional Water System.

Due to the power outage, there is no water running on the East Putnam Regional Water System. County officials advised they’ll send a notice when power is restored.

There will be a Boil Water Notice for at least 48 hours thereafter, county officials said. “The Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until it is lifted and announced,” a county social media post states. “Please ensure during this time if you are using the tap water for drinking or cooking, that you boil the water for at least a minute at a rolling boil.”
