DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — A wanted sex offender is back in jail nearly 24 hours after we warned you about him on Action News.
Daniel Hamilton was wanted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in St. Johns County for failing to appear as a sex offender.
Now he's facing $100,000 bond for this felony crime.
We showed you his mug Thursday morning on our predator alert segment around 7:45 a.m.

Now we have Hamilton's new mug shot after officers with the St. Augustine Police Department nabbed him the very next day.
Friday morning, officers picked him up in front of the Serenity Club along Dixie Highway in St. Augustine. It's an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting facility. Hamilton did go into custody without putting up a fight.
We're also digging to see if someone saw Hamilton on our show and turned him in.
