Record temps for one more day before wind shift brings cooler air

Record temperatures one more day before pattern change

Jacksonville, Fl — We have one more record warm day before cooler changes arrive. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we’ll be near the 2022 record of 87 degrees.

We’ll stay dry. Temperatures will be very warm for the Military Appreciation Ceremony and Riley Green concert on the famed 17th hole.

A cold front moves through tonight and drops us down to the lower 70s for Wednesday afternoon. It will turn a bit breezy as well. Winds off the Atlantic Ocean will have temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.

The first round of THE PLAYERS will be dry and mild. Highs will be near 70 degrees at TPC Sawgrass on Thursday. Inland will be in the mid-70s.

A few showers return Friday night. We will be tracking the timing. Friday’s high temperatures will be in the low 80s.

The weekend is looking nice and dry with mostly sunny skies on Saturday and breezy temperatures in the low to mid-70s. Sunday is just about as beautiful.
