Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to an aggravated battery on the westside of Jacksonville on Somerton Court and Somerton Drive.

One man in his late 20s was taken to the hospital after he was shot on Somerton Court. JSO said the man's injuries were non-life-threatening.

According to JSO, several people were taken in for questioning.
JSO does not know the status of the relationship, but they believe the victim and the suspect may have known each other. JSO said it appeared that there was an ongoing dispute between both parties.
