ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is looking for a stolen sailboat.
The owner of the 30-foot, 1972 Schooner sailboat had it anchored in the Intracoastal Waterway about a mile north of the Vilano Bridge.
The $30,000 boat had been there for about two months.
The owner told detectives he last saw the boat on June 23. He went to check on it on July 8 and noticed it missing.
The sailboat has a white fiberglass hull with wood on the top and red and green trim running toward the bottom of the boat.
The boat has a 40-horsepower Perkins diesel engine.
