A local business near the Oakleaf Town Center said they caught two thieves on surveillance camera and learned they were involved in multiple break-ins nearby.
“When we got here, the crime scene unit and two police units were sitting outside,” said Paul Hammerschmidt, social media coordinator at Lux Upscale Resale Boutique & Salon.
Police said Secret Nails and Woody's Barbeque were broken into by smash and grab, but thieves but didn’t get away with much.

Two cash registers were smashed at Woody's, but there was no money inside for the thieves to steal, according to police.
Police said an ATM was opened at the nail salon, but they couldn’t determine if anything was taken.
A hair salon had its back door knob taken off, and Lux salon owner Marcy Jones said they almost got into her salon, too.
“You can see where they tried to pry all this out,” said Jones.
Now Jones and Hammerschmidt said they’re keeping an eye out and alerting other stores nearby
