JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Southside business owner said he's a victim of the latest rash of smash and grabs in Jacksonville.
An Action News Jax viewer sent us cellphone video of Cedars Cleaners at Kernan and Beach Blvd.
The door was smashed and shattered glass was scattered at the business.
The owner said thieves stole his cash register and he found a rock in the back of the business tha the thinks the burglars used to smash the glass.
“This is sad,” said Charles Sammour. “Being in a safe area, working hard for people to come and do what they just did. It's just sad. I feel bad for me, my neighbors. It can happen to anyone of them…”
The business was closed and the glass door was fixed by Saturday.
