St. Johns County Fire Rescue and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded Monday night to a fire at a Burger King off County Road 210 in St. Johns County.
Crews arrived and found smoke and flames coming from the roof, SJCFR said in a Facebook post.
Firefighters were able to get access to the building through the ductwork in the roof and extinguish the fire there as well.
No injuries were reported and damage was limited. The fire's cause is currently under investigation by the SJCFR Fire Marshals Office.
A witness told Action News Jax they saw lightning in the area prior to the fire.
