ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla — To help reduce traffic congestion, St. Johns County says it’s offering free beach shuttles during Labor Day weekend.
The county says the Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park shuttle will be free from September 5-7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Cornerstone Park to Mickler’s parking lot. St. Johns County says the sheriff’s office, the St. Augustine Beach Police Department, and St. Johns County Marine Rescue personnel will patrol the beaches throughout the weekend.
On-beach driving is from 8 a.m to 7:30 p.m., and traffic must remain in the designated lanes. The county adds that beachgoers are encouraged to monitor updates on driving conditions by following “SJCBeaches” on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), and download the SJC Connect app.
