Former St. Johns County school coach accused of sexual assault on victims under the age of 18

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A former coach at a St. Johns County school is facing two counts of sexual assault on victims under the age of 18.

Two women have come forward, saying Tylar Reagan sexually assaulted them when they were underage students.

Records show Reagan was working with the St. Johns County School District at the time.

The alleged crimes took place between 2017 and 2019, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

The school district said Reagan was an adjunct coach with Bartram Trail High School and has not worked at the school since 2018. The school district also said Reagan previously volunteered at Pedro Menendez High School.

One victim said the alleged assault started when she was 15 while taking part with a school weightlifting club, according to an arrest report.

The report said Reagan sent the victim sexual messages on social media and nude photos of himself.

Reagan also allegedly sexually assaulted her on campus numerous times with up to 30 sexual encounters between the two, the report said.

Another victim said she was 17 at the time and met Reagan at a private gym.

She was a member of the weightlifting and track and field teams.

Reagan allegedly sent sexual photos and videos of himself to her. The report states he allegedly sexually assaulted her on a total of six different occasions.

Reagan, who’s now 27, was booked last Friday in the St. Johns County Jail and released the next day on a total bond of $500,000.
