Man critically hurt after hit-and-run crash in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is working to learn more information regarding a hit-and-run crash that happened Sunday morning.

Just after 6 a.m., troopers said a man was walking westbound along State Road 16 near Inman Road, when he was hit by a vehicle.

The 71-year-old Daytona Beach man was left critically hurt.

Troopers said the driver did not stop and a description of the car is not known at this time.
