ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — 8:39 a.m. Update: The Florida Highway Patrol released new information regarding a crash causing traffic delays on I-95 on International Golf Parkway.
According to a FHP report, a 75-year-old Georgia man was driving the semi southbound on I-95 when he hit the brakes to slow down for traffic, causing the semi to jackknife and hit a guardrail.
The driver was not hurt.
The collision shut down the inside northbound and southbound lanes as crews worked to clear the area. Lanes have since reopened.

A crash involving a jackknifed semi is causing major delays on Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash with injuries on I-95 South at International Golf Parkway just before 6 a.m. Monday.
Multiple northbound and southbound lanes at that exit are closed. Action News Jax has reached out to FHP to learn more information.
Drivers can take the following alternate routes:
- To head south, take CR-210 to Silverleaf/ St. Johns Parkway
- To head north, take SR-16 at Silverleaf/ St. Johns Parkway
