St. Johns County businesses can apply for funds to enhance outdoor spaces for COVID-19 mitigation

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Small businesses and nonprofit organizations located in St. Johns County can now apply for financial help.

A total of $500,000 from Phase I of the American Rescue Plan Act was allocated to the Small Business Exterior Grant Program to assist small business owners in enhancing their outdoor spaces for COVID-19 mitigation.

Eligible small businesses and nonprofits may receive a one-time grant of up to $49,500. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
