ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said John A. Stone was arrested for threatening to shoot everyone on the job at his former employer in Jacksonville Beach Saturday.

An arrest report says Stone called his former employer to ask about his W-2. A witness who was on the phone with Stone told police the conversation started with Stone threatening to sue the company before he became irate and started making threats against the employees at work.
The witness told police Stone said, “I want to load up my gun and shoot everyone on the job.” He also claims Stone said, “I’ll handle (redacted) first and shoot him. Once I’m done with (redacted), I’ll make everyone else’s life miserable.” The arrest report noted that the redacted name is the name of the general manager at the business.

The witness told deputies he believed Stone could follow through on his threats.
Deputies that went to Stone’s home said he admitted to making threats against an employee at the store, but would not admit that he threatened to use a gun.
He told police when he was on the phone with the store he became angry and said, “I should kill all y’all son of b******.”
Stone admitted to having multiple guns in his house and he allowed police to collect them and take them as evidence. Police also took his cell phone as evidence.
He was arrested for making a false report to use a firearm in a violent manner.
He was released from St. Johns County jail Sunday.
