The Jacksonville Jaguars want state money to make upgrades to the stadium.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The upgrades to EverBank Field would include club space improvements, a covered practice field and an amphitheater.

The proposal would cost about $45 million in taxpayer money.

The ordinance will be introduced at the Nov. 10 city council meeting.

The Jags asked for $1 million a year over 30 years last year. However, the measure died during the 2015 legislative session.
