ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance images of three people who are accused of theft.
Deputies say the suspects worked together to steal someone’s wallet at a Burger King on Wells Road Wednesday.
A woman told police that her fiancé took her wallet into the store to pay for the food, but left her wallet on the counter accidentally.
Surveillance video captures a man and two women approaching the counter. The man picked up the wallet and put it in his front pocket while one of the women tried to hide the theft from the security camera.
The trio left the Burger King, got into a red car and left.
The woman said her driver’s license, Social Security card and bank card were in the wallet.
