The Florida Highway Patrol has officially identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash in Nassau County on Sunday.
According to FHP, Shane Hill, 37, was walking in the left lane of U.S. 1 just south of Zidell Road in Callahan when he was hit.
A GoFundMe fundraiser said that he was a father of two and did not have a life insurance policy.
Troopers said the driver of a Toyota Tundra hit the man and kept driving south, leaving the man dead in the median.
