JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two banks nearly 8 miles apart were robbed Saturday by suspects who were described as almost identical.
The first bank robbery was reported at a BBVA Compass Bank on Monument Road after a man who was described by witnesses as a young, short black male with oversized sunglasses and a black hoodie handed a teller a note requesting money.
Police said the suspect then fled the bank on foot. He didn't get any money from the teller.

Around 1 p.m., a suspect who police again described as a short, young black male with large sunglasses and a black hoodie entered a Vystar Credit Union on Main Street and handed the teller a note demanding money.
This time, he was given money and left the credit union on foot.
