Updates: Power outages in Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia

JEA working to restore power on Monday

In the wake of Hurricane Irma, thousands of customers were without power across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Action News Jax is monitoring these outages with the major utilities across our area and will work to keep you updated on the progress in getting your power back on:

JEA

JEA's power service area covers most of Duval County. As of Monday evening, more than 209,000 customers were without power. To monitor outages, visit JEA's outage map. You can also report an electric outage by clicking here.

Florida Power & Light

Northeast Florida counties included in Florida Power and Light's service area includes Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns and Union counties. As of Monday evening, more than 123,000 customers were without power. To check FPL's outage map, click here.

Beaches Energy

Beaches Energy service area includes Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra and Palm Valley. As of Monday night, 1,800 Beaches Energy customers were without power. To get updates on power restoration, visit the Beaches Energy Twitter account.

Clay Electric

Clay Electric's service area includes Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Suwannee and Union counties. Systemwide, more than 117,000 customers were without power on Monday night. To see the latest number of Clay Electric outages, click here.

Georgia Power 

Georgia Power's southeast Georgia service area includes Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, Pierce and Ware. As of Monday night, there were 65,939 customers without power in these counties. To see the latest number of Georgia Power outages, click here.
