JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — You can see it from the street -- a large chunk of window missing from the Wells Fargo building downtown.
It's hard to miss; the building built in 1975 has 37 floors. The 40-pound piece of glass broke off and was hanging from the 20th floor only by caulking, as some intense storms blew into downtown. A firefighter had to rappel down the building in order to secure it.
"I said wow what the heck this is crazy," said Tyheem.

Action News got hold of Kathy Harrison, the senior communications vice president for Wells Fargo. She told us what it was like to be inside the building during those storms.
"It was pretty scary. In a matter of minutes it went from daylight to darkness," said Harrison. She said as a precaution, staff were told to move away from all of the windows.
"We have interior rooms that are inside of each floor and they're directed to go into those rooms," said Harrison.
And it's a good thing they did, because besides the hanging piece of glass, passer-by saw something else.
"I noticed more cracks in the window," said Tyheem.
In fact, our cameras captured five other cracks in those windows.
Action News did reach out to the company that owns this building, to see what they were going to do to replace the broken glass and other pieces of cracked glass. We are waiting on a call back.
