A woman was taken to the hospital when the Honda CR-V she was driving was hit by an oncoming minivan and overturned on Atlantic Blvd. and Art Museum Drive.
The impact took out an electrical box that supplies power to the intersection. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office had to direct traffic at the scene.
Action News Jax reporter Erica Bennett was live on the scene and Tweeted these updates:

Despite how bad it looks, I'm told the woman in the overturned car was conscious when transported to the hospital.
