KINGSLAND, Ga. —
A worker was killed last week after falling from a dry dock, according to a spokesperson for Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
Scott Bassett, Public Affairs Officer for Kings Bay, told Action News Jax the person killed was an employee of a subcontractor working on renovations to the base’s “dry dock” - where submarines are lifted out of the water during maintenance.
