JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man in his 20s is in critical yet stable condition after being found with a gunshot wound in the torso.
The man was found on a sidewalk near the Hilltop Village Apartments on West 45th Street on the Northside.
Police were called to the scene just after 9 p.m. According to officers, the man was standing on the sidewalk when people in a older-model silver sedan with tinted windows began shooting at him.
Multiple bullets were recovered from the scene.
Earlier on Friday night, police were called to the scene where a man was shot near the 1000 block of Golfair Boulevard, about 1.5 miles from the apartment complex.
