In a news release, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said that Mark Greenburg has been involved in at least 11 incidents reported to deputies over the last eight months. In those incidents, Greenburg was accused of yelling at neighbors and their children with a megaphone and using his phone to record children.

Deputies said that a 6-year-old girl’s father contacted them Friday after Greenburg approached her in the driveway and made unusual comments, saying that he would “make [her] famous” or “turn [her] into a woman,” WFTV reported.

The comments made the little girl uncomfortable and so the father took her to her grandmother’s house to play. Deputies said that the father called after Greenburg was seen taking photos outside the grandmother’s house.

When police tried to talk to Greenburg on Friday, he refused to answer the door, WFTV reported.

The sheriff’s office shared video of Greenburg’s arrest, in which Greenburg starts to question the deputies, to which one responds, “I’m not going to argue. We’re not going to discuss it. That’s the charge. You want to discuss it, that guy is called a judge. We’re not judges.”

Greenburg responded, “There’s two sides to every story.”

Greenburg was taken to jail, where his bond was set at $5,000, WFTV reported.
