Banes, 65, also known for her work in “Cocktail,” was struck Friday night as she was walking near Lincoln Center on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, WNBC reported.

The Broadway veteran was on her way to meet her wife, Kathryn Kranhold, for a dinner party at a friend’s place near Lincoln Center when she was hit by a person riding a red-and-black motorized vehicle with no plate, Variety reported.

The driver of the scooter fled the scene, police said.

Banes, who is based in Los Angeles, was in New York to perform in a virtual adaptation of Eleanor Burgess’ “The Niceties,” Variety reported.
