Two men wore hollowed-out watermelons with eye holes instead of masks while stealing from a convenience store in the town of Louisa, WRC-TV reported.

According to the Louisa Police Department, the two men entered a Sheetz convenience store May 6 and took some items. Police did not say what the men stole, WTTG reported.

Police released photos of the two men on Facebook, asking for anyone with tips to call them and reference the “Melon-Heads” case.

Hours later, police updated the post to announce one of the men had been arrested.

A dispatcher with the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The Daily Progress of Charlottesville that one man had been taken into custody.

The dispatcher did not provide the name of the person arrested, saying only that it occurred “a few days ago,” the newspaper reported. The dispatcher did not say if the man had been charged in connection with the theft.

“Thank you to the community for all your assistance,” the Louisa Police Department wrote on Facebook.
