Police: Maryland woman allegedly ran over, killed her boyfriend

BRANDYWINE, Md. — A woman from Maryland allegedly ran over and killed her boyfriend, police say.

In a news release, the Prince George’s County Police Department said that on Saturday at around 8:45 p.m., officers were called out to a house after a report that a person was trapped underneath a car.

When officers arrived at the house, the victim whom police identified as Shamatto Clarke, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CBS News Baltimore.

Investigators believe that Udele Burno, 38, had allegedly struck Clarke with her car intentionally, according to CBS News.

PGCPD identified Clarke as Burno’s boyfriend in a news release.

According to WTTG, police have not released any information about what possibly led to the incident or a possible motive.

PGCPD said that Burno is being charged with vehicular manslaughter and is being held without bond.
