Update 10:20 p.m. EDT March 14: The WWE released a statement Monday night confirming Hall’s passing.

“WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans,” the professional wrestling organization wrote.

Original report: Hall, 63, broke his hip last week and was recovering in a Georgia hospital after hip replacement surgery when he had the heart attacks, according to a story from PWTorch.

Hall, who wrestled in WWF in the 1990s under the name Razor Ramon, left the WWF in 1996 and became a founding member of WCW’s New World Order, along with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

After retiring in 2010, Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 and again as a member of the nWo in 2020.

Nash posted an update about Hall on Instagram Sunday, saying that Hall was on life support.

“Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support. I’m going to lose the one person on this planet I’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken … .”

Hall, who has battled health issues in recent years, had been scheduled to appear in Dallas during WrestleMania this week.
