There is a warrant issued for Vicky White. She is facing charges of permitting or facilitating escape in the first degree, CNN reported.

Officials believe she helped Casey White escape the Lauderdale County Detention Facility, where she was the assistant director of corrections. Officials do not believe that she was forced or coerced.

Vicky White had told co-workers that she was taking Casey White to the courthouse before she was going to seek medical attention. The pair never made it to the courthouse or a medical facility, CNN reported.

Video of the two of them leaving the jail has been released by officials.

The sheriff’s office believes the two were in a relationship.
