ST JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Johns County woman was hit by a vehicle in a fast food parking lot.
Deputies said Robin Wetherington is in critical condition at UF Health.
She was hit just after 2 a.m. Saturday at a Krystals Restaurant on US 1 South of Flagler Hosptial.
Deputies say the 31-year-old driver of the truck that hit her was involved in a fight in a nearby parking lot.
They say in an attempt to get away from the fight he backed up and hit Wetherington and drove away.
A taxi-cab driver who saw the crash followed and directed deputies to him.
That driver is now being questioned.
